Computer beeping when bootng with new Gtx 750 ti

Hello, I put up another thread about this before, and many people told me to get a new power supply. Well I did, a 600 watt one. My computer still won't boot with this new card in. My monitor turns on and it says "press escape to open boot menu" but obviously escape does nothing. The screen stays like that for a while. Then my computer starts to beep like this: 4 short beeps 20 secs apart, then 3 fast ones right after the 4th one. My computer is a factory hp one. When I put my old gt 520 back in it works fine. Any help would be appreciated.

  1. your motherboard manual will have an error code list stating what those beeps mean (so either call hp or find the manual)

Damn HP, I may have a fix for your problem here is the link of my post.... I am so sleepy now and gotta go to work... thx to HP!

    https://ssl.www8.hp.com/us/en/hp-search/search-results.html?ajaxpage=1#/page=1&/cat=Support%20%26%20Drivers&/cc=us&/lang=en&/qt=HP%20Consumer%20Desktop%20PC%20BIOS%20Update%20

Original post (in case if the link is dead):
I have my GT750 ti today. I got very similiar problems and I got it fixed.
    Here is my problem:
after the new graphic card is plugged in, I am stucked at the HP screen (say press ESC to

setup) and nothing works. So the card seems working fine but the computer is frozed.
I have to turn it off and use my onboard DVI port.

    Solution:
After 8 hours of calling HP support and graphic card support (which is 100 times better

than HP who'd done nothing but collecting my info for 10 mins then told me I voided my

warranty by putting a new graphic card in. Total bs).

Okay, I have to upgrade the BIOS but no BIOS update download is available on the porduct

support page (My PC is HP Pavilion H8 1360t, Mother board is IPMMB-FM (Formosa) like most

    1360 and 1350 series).

So I've read for 3 hrs of forum and then I went to "HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS Update"

page and try all available update for the BIOS with different ROM number.

Usually, if the BIOs update is not for your BIOS it will tell you and you have to quit it,

no harm should be done. (still, run it at your own risk or ask HP support if you can get

    them care about it).

I tried one after another and my H8-1360t took the (ROM Family 2ADC) BIOS update!
Warning: the computer may seem like forze for a few minutes! DO NOT turn it off, It is

okay! It seems stopped or hang but it is not! Be patient! Once it is done, it will tell you

and you can see you can move your mouse again. If you turn the computer off early, don't

    blame me!

I don't know what BIOS update is for which mother board and they didn't specify! Not to

mention why on earth they don't put them on the product's driver download page? What the

    hell, HP?

After the bios is updated, I installed my GeForce GTX750 Ti on my HP Pavilion h8-1360t. It

works like the one I was trying to replace (GT440). Got 2 monitor, one on HDMI and one on

DVI, not a single problem after a few reboot.

Okay, I hope it will help everyone and this is my last time bying HP products.... I used to

like them but this company is getting worse and worse... Me and my family used to have 60

HP products since I was 10 but no more.
