On my, jailbroken, ipod 5, I have iSwfPlayer and I've tried to play flash games on it. When I try to play games, they are too slow and often crash. I've heard apple doesn't like flash for several reasons, so I thought if I could convert .swf games in to a more supported format to run them faster. Is it possible to convert a .swf file into another format, and if so, would it increase performance?

Thanks.

Unlike the person above, I am going to be nicer about this. Right now, I do not know of anyway to convert .swf games to any other format. Unless you are willing to re-write the whole game in another format. (This is for programmers. :p ) Maybe in the future we may have a program that can convert them, but right now, I do not believe that this is possible.

One reason your flash games are slow could very well be because the iPod only has a 800 MHz processor. New iPhones have much faster CPUs than that iPod.
