Hi,
I have a laptop that connects only ide hard drives.
So, due to the fact that I have a sata hard drive from another system, I bought a hard drive adapter (sata to ide) to connect it to my laptop.
The problem is that when I connect the hard drive, the cd/dvd drive stops working.
Does it have to do with the motherboard?? Like if the motherboard allows only one type of sata drive, then it won't let me use both hard drive and cd drive???
