Hi there,

I've just recently built a pc.

Intel i5 4670k
MSI z87-g45
Sapphire radeon 7950 HD

These components have been working fine, but this morning I put my computer on and the GFX fans started running at full tilt and there was no display on my monitors.

I used my on board graphics card to try to diagnose the problem and after some investigation it dawned on me that not only was the GFX card not being registered in the PCI 3.0 (or the PCI 2.0) slots, neither was the ethernet port. I have since tried to reinstall drivers but the software is not even registering the existence of the hardware. Which swayed me from the first thought of it being a gfx fault.

What has happened between 9pm last night and 10am this morning? Very frustrating. I've been reading that there are quite a few issues with MSI boards but for it to stop working whilst sitting switched off for 13 hours is rather odd.

If anyone has any suggestions I would be more than grateful. Go easy on me though this is my first build.

Cheers,

Naz

Solution
I would try disassemble and then assemble PC and try to run it, I have same motherboard and thanks to god it works perfectly because I won't be able to RMA it.
