GSYNC monitor worth it?

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if anyone believes getting the new nvidia gsync monitors is worth the money? I'm mainly interested due to Arma 3 and was wondering if it will help my overall performance (FPS and all of the FPS jumps)

If you already have a monitor you like, I don't think it'd justify the cost alone.

If you're planning on upgrading your monitor anyway, then I think the ability to be free of both vsync and screen tearing is worth extra money.

I think I'd agree is probably the best way to go about it. I'll definitely get G-sync when I go to replace my monitor, but I'm not rushing out to get one just for G-sync alone. I'm actually pretty interested in one of the ones that are also 1440p.

Thanks for the info guys! I have a little LG Flatron E2060 and was thinking about upgrading anyways, so you think itd be worth it to invest in a GSYNC monitor?

I would, but there really aren't any out there except the VG248QE with the upgrade kit. I personally would wait for a few more to come to market so you can get good options, unless a 24" 1080p 144hz G-sync monitor is exactly what you were looking for.

also, make sure you have a nvidia gpu thats a 650ti or higher to take advantage of the g-sync. i bet you already know this but im just checking in case. you dont want to waste alot of money for a technology you cant use
