Hello, I have a weird issue that isn't causing exactly any direct problems but I'd like to know why this happens: When gaming my case starts to make a cracking/crackling sound for a few seconds consecutively & then stops. OR when I power it off to go to bed I hear it make the same sound about 15 minutes after being off. I was thinking it might be the metal expanding with the heat but I doubt that's the case, any ideas on what it might be?

I thought it may be a cheap PSU causing the noise, but that is no cheapie. (sorry, didn't think to look at your sig for the PSU... duh)

The only thing that would heat up/cool down and possibly cause noise that I can think of would be the PSU or the gfx card. You could temporarily remove the card and run off the integrated video for a bit. Listen if the sound is still there. If not, it may be the card.
If you still hear it, I would investigate the PSU closer... maybe with a home made stethoscope. Sometimes, you can use a drinking straw as one to locate where the sound is coming from.

Check the card over close. I have a new R9-290X that made a racket when I first ran it. Turned out, it was the card's fan connection wasn't tucked away well enough. It was sticking out slightly in the path of one of the fans. I tucked it away properly, and the problem was solved. Hope yours is as easy to fix.
