I've read other threads, but can't find my problem duplicated.
-I have a new, HP pavilion laptop. I have swapped out the HDD for Kingston v300 SSD. 120GB
-I set the the BIOS to Legacy support, and changed the boot order to external USB first.
-I inserted a new, windows 8.1 install disc into the external disc drive and ran the disc.
-Everything starts and loads normally. The drive is formatted, the disc copy's files, runs updates, finishes...
Then when it goes to reboot, it loads the disc again and tries to re-install the OS. If I reboot manually at that point, I get the blue Repair screen.
What am I doing wrong?
