Intel Core i5 2500K @ 3.30GHz 45 °C
Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology

RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 667MHz (9-9-9-24)

Motherboard
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z77-DS3H (Intel Core i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz) 28 °C

Graphics
FHX2300 (1920x1080@59Hz)
Intel HD Graphics 3000 (Gigabyte)
ATI AMD Radeon HD 6600 Series (Dell) 45 °C

Storage
931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EFRX-68JCSN0 ATA Device (SATA) 28 °C

Optical Drives
TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-224DB ATA Device

Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio

I was thinking of buying a GTX 780, but im open to suggestions. If anyone has any upgrades that they would suggest, then be my guest. Also, if the 780 is recommended, will it be compatible with the motherboard?

Not outdated at all, to my knowledge 2xxx series processors lack PCI Gen 3 support, but the performance loss on the GPU will be immeasurably small. Supports SATA3 so no trouble with an SSD. 780 would make a perfect addition to that system, provided the PSU is up to the task.

you are fine as long as you have the PSU to back it all up

I use an overclocked 2500k @4.8Mhz and I run 2 7950's. I have never had any kind of bottleneck and a z77 board will have support for the newest GPU's

I sure hope you meant 4.8 GHz.

What are you using to cool that CPU? 4.8 GHz is quite high.

beleive it or not a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO.

I can get to 5.0 GHz but it will eventually overheat and the voltage needed is above 1.5v so I backed it down. I have great case air flow in my haf 912.

memory is overclocked to 1950MHz w/ cas 10

The 2 200mm fans in front and top plus the 140mm side and 120mm rear have made all the difference
