Hello,

So since January, I've pretty much been experiencing BSOD about two times a month. I didn't bother looking into it before both because of lack of time and because I didn't think it was that big of a deal (lol stupid, I know). But it's April now and while the problem hasn't gotten worse, it definitely hasn't gotten better either. These happenings are sporadic enough that I don't really remember what I was doing on the computer when they happened, but for sure it wasn't while I was gaming. Anyway, from WhoCrashed:

BugCheck name:
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3x)
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (4x, name of last two BSODs)
VIDEO_TDR_ERROR (1x)

Likely causes:
ntoskrnl.exe (3x)
win32k.sys (4x)
atikmpag.sys (1x)

My specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit
Gigabyte EP45-UD3R.
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E7400 @2.80GHz 1.73 GHz
RAM 2.00 GB

Any advice on what I should do?

If more info is needed, I can provide it. Thanks!

Solution
VIDEO_TDR_ERROR - attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed - updated video driver.
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION and PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA - pretty generic errors and can happy with lots of things - memtest.

Your hard drive might contain bad sectors. I had similar problems last time but after I scanned for bad sector and repaired it, the BSOD disappeared. You can give it a try.

Bad sector are damaged sector on your hard disk. In most cases you don't really have to be alarmed by it but sometimes it damages your system file. When it does that, it can cause BSOD without warning. I would suggest you to go to My Computer, right click on C:/ (and other drive one by one) and select Properties. Go to Tools and click on Check now..
Then put a tick on Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors. And press Start. The scan might ask you to restart. After it is completed it should be better.
No harm in trying this. Good luck =)
