People have been commenting on the under power of my Nvidia GeForce GT240M lately... It's on a laptop so is there anything I can do to improve it? My computer already heats up alot (sometimes force shutting down) so I don't want to OP it to much. what should l do about it?

My specs:
CPU/Processor: Intel Core i7 Q720 @ 1.6ghz
Memory/RAM: 4GB DDR3 RAM
Graphics Card: NVIDEA GeForce GT240M
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
Laptop: Lenovo IdeaPad Y550P

Solution
Although your processor is good but thats the problem in graphic cards in the laptops they can't be upgraded. Your only way is to buy a new laptop. I was going to buy the laptop but due the same reason i am going to built a pc (want to play watch dogs and thief 2014, the laptop which can play those games is above $1000 mark). There is another thing i see that you have a lenovo, some lenovo laptops have ultrabay feature which allow you add extra hard disk, dvd rom or graphic card, but you have to contact OEM for cards you can only get cards from them. Cheers.
