I want to get a new laptop for my birthday and a laptop so i can bring it to friends house. I have a laptop I'm looking at but I can't see the price so I just want to know if this can run tf2 and minecraft on it. The price would have to be $700 below maybe $800.

intel core i5-4200M processor
8GB DDR3 1600 MHZ
1TB 7200 RPM HDD
Nvidia Geforce GTX 860M
15.6 FHD (1920x1080) LED Matte
DVD+- R/RW DL
Intel 7260 Dual Band Wireless
Windows 8.1 64 BIT

With those specs it should easily run minecraft and TF2.

Basically you are looking for:
CPU: i3 or i5 or AMD 4 core
GPU: nvidia or AMD graphics with the second digit being 5 or higher eg. gtx750m or AMD 7570m...
Ram: 4-8gb
Harddrive: Depends how much space you want
Screen: probably 1360 x 768 or higher
OS: user preference

That'd be a good laptop for games for the $800 or less price point. It'd run TF2 and Minecraft very easily. In fact, it'd put most new games on high settings at good framerates as well.

However, I have no way to check the price either.

I saw a benchmark that said it had BF4 on high settings at 40 fps. Not sure what resolution that was though.
