I want to build a computer tower that is mainly for gaming. Graphic's wise i was looking around high for most games. I would also need a Monitor for this build something nice to show it off. I have been look and studying up on the parts i would need and more or less what to do. The only thing i really need help on is what would be the best parts to get with my budget.
=) been saving for about 2 months so far i got 676 xD and I'm going to get my income tax in a few days so i was more or less looking around 800 to 1200 max for now.
Oh yeah and which to get windows 7 or 8 i do play alot of old games and new ones as well I heard some where windows 8 doesn't run older games...( fable, medieval times 2) games like that... Thanks Guy and Gurls ^.^

Took off the monitor, added the GTX780, doubled your storage to 2TB, upgraded to 80+ gold psu, and threw in a nicer case.

That's pretty nice man thank you. Just a few question the power supply would gold be better then bronze and the mother board is that a good one...(I mean like what I've been reading is that you should dish out some money for a good one..I can always save for another month if that's the case) Also could you tell me what kind of preferment i would get out of this build...(like FPS and Gameplay)
Thanks again sorry for so many question but yeah x] I'm the one who's gonna have to live with it. x]
P.S. I found it funny that you picked that monitor xD I was looking at the same one lol

Yes 80+ gold is better than 80+ bronze but I don't really think it's worth the premium at this power and price range.
That is a solid reliable motherboard. I literally recommend it daily.
I can't give fps estimates but this will max out most games. I really wanted to squeeze in the GTX780 but I just couldn't fit it in under $1200 since you need to buy a monitor and windows. If you have a tv to use for now, I would not get the monitor and get a GTX780 or GTX780ti instead. You could always get a nice ultra HD monitor later.

I could always used my 27" flat screen tv and just get a HDMI cord. lol it just really sucks tho i really like that Asus but i could always get that later... GTX 780 vs 770.. http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-780-vs-GeForce-GTX-770 ... that pretty much say it all lol that's crazy

O.O wow haha thank you as soon as i get my income tax and build this beast, I'm gonna take a some picture and show you what you created me LMAO thank man next time i talk to you....YOU'LL SEE IT ^.^

Dont get that psu. it is made by HEC an unknown quality components. its at tier 4 may fail to meet atx specs. uses cheaper components to match a price.

get a XFX 550Watt 80+bronze. costs 59.99$ a solid brand with nippon chemi-con capacitors. at tier 2. brand XFX unit SEASONIC.

Its a bad idea going with multiple rails psu. going with a single rail will do much better and cleaner power.with multiple rails at every component you plug in "gpu" you have to make sure it doesnt exceed 20amps or more. with single rail you can just plug it in straight with no worries about limits or anything.

You're being dramatic. I've used this exact psu before in a heavily overclocked FX8350 + HD7950 build and it's holding up just fine almost 18 months later. I've never had any issues with any EVGA psu before. This one comes with a 10 year warranty too. I'm not saying it's the greatest psu ever made, but it is not near as bad as you're trying to make it out to be.

I was putting a build together for somebody else just now and I noticed this Antec 650w for $69. Don't know how I missed it earlier.
