Hello,
i would like to overclock my ram or whatsoever, i've bought Kingston HyperX Beast 2400MHZ CL11
2x8gb kit ( KHX2400C11D3/8gx ), and the problem is, in bios it's showing for me that i'm actually using 1333MhZ frequency, so i would like to have 2133 or 18xx, my MOBO is Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0 and my CPU is AMD FX 6350. I need a little help here, should i overclock the ram(if yes, how should i do that) or change something in bios ? I'm a begginer in these kind of stuff so i don't really know what should i do now. Sorry for my bad english.
Thanks.

AMD FX CPU architecture supports the use of 1866MHz MHz speed with one DIMM per channel and 1600MHz speed with two DIMMs per channel. Higher frequencies require overclocking the system.

Leaving BIOS memory settings on default will probably result in conservative SPD (Serial Presence Detect) timing parameters. You can manually choose memory clock settings, selectively modify memory timings or use XMP settings. The eXtreme Memory Profile (XMP) allows you to overclock compatible DDR3 memory to perform beyond standard specifications.

So, i have to overclock the CPU, then i'm able to overclock the RAM? Or it is not possible to go higher than 1866 with 2 Memories?
EDIT: my bad, I didn't check the link and I didn't understand you at all, now im gonna give it a try, thanks
