Hi guys, Im new to this forum and just need a little advice.

I've decided im gonna splash out on a gaming PC as im rather disappointed with both next gen consoles and fancy switching to PC.

Here's the components I've decided to go for so far:

I plan on going for the GTX 780ti graphics card.

Just wondering what Wattage power supply you guys would recommend, and what brand as im unsure which brands are reliable or not?

And also just wondering If you think the components already selected are up to scratch?

Thanks,
Scott

Ok thanks, will take a look at that! I'm trying to build for the future too, how long would that card run current/next gen games on ultra @1080p for? don't want to be changing GFX card every year. Will the introduction of DX12 affect the card?

Thanks[/quotemsg]

I'd say another 2-3 years depending on what type of games you run, you could always add a second card down the line. DX12 will actually increase performance compared to DX11 if what I hear is true as it is a more direct API.
If play at 1080p 780ti is pointless because single 780 will do the job and i think 130~140 pounds is not worth extra 20~25FPS in games.
I would recommend you these parts.

Thanks for the fast response everyone! TechCIDLC I've seen a corsair 750w for £72 so will go for that.
randomhkkid yeah that case looks good, but the one I've chosen has 5 fans already built in.

Ahmadjon, thanks for the GFX card advice, im gonna be using a 32 Panasonic TV @1080p, so i'll take a step down and go for the 780. those components look good, but the mobo bundle I've chosen is overclocked, which I wouldn't know how to do myself so I think i'll stick with that

By the way an AMD r9 290 is both faster and cheaper than the 780 (Still massive overkill for 1080p) HERE and benchmarks
