I would like you to inform me whether MSI GTX 750 TI Twin Frozr GPU card will fit in Asus Z87-A motherboard.

The GPU card occupies two pci slots (for the ventilation system).
As you see in the pictures, all PCIex16 slots have a PCI slots underneath them. The latter ones are taller than the PCIe slots and it seems that there's a probability that the fans won't have any room and the GPU won't go all the way in the PCIe slot.

Has anyone of you made this combination or is sure that there won't be any problem?

The pci-e connector on a gpu is made so the card have plenty of room. There won't be any problem trust me. :)

I agree with that, because that is, of course, a general rule of design.

But in this scenario, I think it's more complex.

You may look at these pics:

As you see, the bottom line of the coolers is aligned to the bottom of the gpu card, thus it'll be blocked by the *taller* PCI slot. If coolers were a little bit thinner, there wouldn't be any problem.

You shouldn't worry. The PCI-E slots on Motherboards are designed to accomodate graphics cards without a problem.
You can even go for an SLI build with that 'premiuim' motherboard !

If you're right, then I guess there's only one explanation: the fans kit resides between the PCI slot and the -next- PCIe x1 slot. But I want to confirm that because I won't have the chance to return the card after buying it.

Yes, if this card could support it. (it doesn't).

I don't think there should be a problem with such a premium mobo. And by SLI i meant you could go all the way to 3-way SLI of GTX Titans with that mobo without trouble.

I myself own Asus Z87-K and it runs stably with MSI TwinFrozr 780 Ti.

Yeah, but there's no *tall* PCI slot underneath the PCIe x16 slot in the Z87-K, so there's no physical problem. The MSI fits perfectly.

Anyway, that's the photo I was looking for:

As you see, the bottom line of the fans cover will hit the taller PCI slot, so it won't fit. I guess I have to go for another motherboard, such as the Asus Maximus VI, which is physically the same with Z87-A, but lacks the legacy PCI slots.
