My motherboard supports only ram speeds of 1066 and 1333 mhz and my processor is intel g2020 which support only 1333 mhz. I'm sure i'll upgrade my pc soon and for that reason i want to buy an 8gb ram of 1600mhz. Is that ram backward compatible with my motherboard which supports only 1333 mhz? Pls help me out...

Typically Most RAM is Backwards Compatible _ meaning it will run fine on slower speeds

However some Ram is Setup to work at its listed speed and even though is can it may preform worse than other RAM at that speed
Also check your MB Manufactures RAM Support List as they test RAM to see what is stable
You can also look at the Manufacture of the RAM your looking at to see what they say about there RAM speeds

So that means I can even use 2400 mhz memory and it will be defult to 1066 and I should manually increase it to 1333 mhz and even more speed like 1600? But my mothrlerboard (msi h61m p20(g3)) supports only 1066 and 1033? Will that work? Okay, I'll go with corsair vengeance 1600mhz or 1866mhz, is that okay?

You prob could though that's basically throwing money away, most sticks that are 2400 run CL 10 or 11, so at 1066, they would want to run at Cl 5-6 and not all mobos can handle that, would prob be stuck at CL7 maybe which might be a bit choppy for true 2400 sticks
