Alright guys, I have a few questions.

To start my specs are:
Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 Mobo
AMD FX 6300
Zotac GTX 780
650w PSU
and 8GB ram
1920x1080 27' Monitor

My first question is, when I plug in my GPU (just got it yesterday, upgraded from 7790 x-fire) is that I plug in the two PCI-E connectors, but I don't have the 8 pin plug in for the 780. The two PCI-E's i got are both 6 pin, and have the +2 hanging off the side, but they don't plug in for the 8 pin area.

My next question is that, will my processor bottleneck my GPU heavily?
Playing BF4 on Ultra settings I bounce between 45 - 70 FPS most of the time, and I hear people are suppose to be getting 90 FPS+ with the 780?

any help would be appreciated, I've been searching for a few hours now trying to find the right answer..

The 6-pin with extra 2-pin should be able to plug into your card. You have to line them up perfectly BEFORE you plug either side in. Then plug both sides in together.

The FX-6300 should not bottleneck your GPU. It's a pretty high end CPU.

Alright, thanks for the info on that. I'll try it in a bit, Not sure if it'll work but I'll give it a shot.

Anyone know about the BF4 issue?
