Hey I recently noticed that my brand new PC (bought 2 weeks ago) performs somehow sluggish in both windows and certain games. I decided to run a a full benchmark (PerformanceTest by PassMark) and everything seemed fine except for my RAM score. Almost every single RAM test is way below the average posted on PassMarks site. For instance:

PassMark latency score: 25ms / Mine: 60-70 ms
PassMark Read Uncached (MB/s):14251 / Mine: 6500
PassMarkWrite (MB/s): 9662 /Mine: 4502

Just these numbers seem like a huge difference. I ran MemTest and I didn't get any errors from it. I know that AMD cpus aren't the best but would it have such a huge effect on the memory? Or does the problem lie somewhere else (perhaps the cpu)? I would be really happy with any advice/solution, thanks.

My specs:
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB (KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GBX)
CPU: AMD FX-6300 (no OC) with Arctic Cooing Freezer 7
Gigabyte GTX 770 2GB
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P mobo
Corsair 600W PSU
OS: Windows 8.1
