I have 32 bit Windows Vista home premium installed on my PC (OEM). My question is: If I download an ISO with the same OS but in 64 bit, does the same key work (on both 64 bit and 32 bit). I have a sticker on the PC with the key on.

You don't want to use Vista in the first place, it's a really bad OS. Buy windows 8 or use Linux for free. The key should work though.

AFAIK, it is the same key for both.

I have a Vista Ultimate retail box here that contains both 32bits and 64bits DVDs and there is only one activation code.

I used Vista for five years until the $15 Win8 upgrade promo and it worked fine. The way Microsoft seems to have an urge to scramble the UI around and dumb down the OS with every release is quite annoying but aside from that, I had no major issues with Vista.

Yes, the key will work. Finding a safe download version of Vista may prove difficult. Beware getting from torrented sites. You will likely get more than you bargained for.
