Bottle necking a GTX 770?

Will an Intel Core i3 3220k Hypothreaded CPU give a GTX 770 Bottle necking and if so by how much?

"Bottlenecking" does not work like that. If you run something very CPU intensive, the CPU will bottleneck you. Likewise with GPU intensive tasks the GPU will bottleneck you. Tell us what you are going to do with that setup and we'll give you some answers.

Mostly steam games like CoD , Assassins creed , GTA IV

Just one little correction: There is no k-version of the i3-3220 so you aren't going to be able to overclock.

Now then:

As you can see, the i3 is capable of reaching good fps in all modern games, but will cause a bit of a bottleneck. An i5 with a GTX 760 would be a more balanced combo for gaming, but if you already have the i3, no need to upgrade just yet.

yep. it will. all 3 of those games are cpu bound... which means the cpu will always be the bottleneck in performance for those titles. In that case a locked multiplier 2C/4T chip will most certainly be an issue at some point.

I was thinking about buying like an i5 3570k should i do that?

Yes, it will make gaming smoother if you have the money for it.
