I bought a MacBook pro 2012 from a pawnshop. I turned it on and it asks for language preference. I use English for the main language and press the return key. Then it automatically goes to OS X Utilities and gives me 4 options: Restore from time machine backup, reinstall a new copy of OS X, Get help online, or Disk Utility. I am a new user of apple computers. What should I do?

Disk Utility>Reformat the harddrive.

Following this guide, you should be able to completely wipe your drive, and then proceed to utilize the "Reinstall a new copy of OSX" feature to get yourself up and running!
