Hi folks. I was wondering how well my pc can run dayz, titanfall, and battlefield 4.
Motherboard: GIGABYTE 970A-DS3P AMD 970 ATX w/ Ultra Durable 4 Classic, On/Off Charge, GbLAN, 2 PCIe x16, 3 PCIe x1, 2 PCI
RAM / System Memory: 8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory (Corsair or Major Brand)
Video Card: AMD Radeon R7 260X 2GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 Video Card (Major Brand Powered by AMD)
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.50 GHz Six-Core AM3+ CPU 6MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology

Thanks!

Battlefield can effectively use many cores well, so it shouldn't be a problem, and it makes good use of AMD hardware, so you should be good with medium settings. Titanfall is not hard to run really, so I think medium-high settings should be achievable.

The thing about Dayz is, it's not really optimized at all. I've got an i5 at 4.4Ghz and a gtx 680, and I still get low fps in cities. I run at about medium settings I guess you could say.

Be sure to check out benchmarks for specific games too. By just googling fx 6300 dayz for example, you can get a lot of info. Hope this helps!

Titanfall and BF4 are obviously more resource intensive than Dayz, correct? If so would I be able to run dayz at high (maybe ultra) with 30 FPS and 720 or higher?
Thanks for the help.

High settings yes. Ultra maybe/maybe not. When a game client comes under load,(a lot of stuff on the screen) it'll make your frame count drop, possibly getting you killed in the meanwhile.

It honestly depends on you; Do you want more fps but lower quality? Or do you want eye-candy but lose on frames?

Do some testing and see what happens, and always check the minimum requirements for games.

You will be able to play titanfall on high setting at 720 p and maintain an average of 40fps.
