This is a great monitor, which I was given ten years ago. You can switch between PCs (I have an elderly one still running XP but not for much longer) I'm running Win7 Prox64. I noticed a few days ago the tint was light green which I'd corrected so I thought. Then today it has a pale pink tint, (now its pale blue) very pretty but not ideal! I've attempted to rectify it via it’s to no avail. I've looked around, there was a driver from Compaq I had in a previous setup of this PC but cannot locate it and have found no answer on any sites. I'd rather not buy a new one, but I’ve had a good run. Has anyone a suggestion?

Hi. An interesting point, it would not of occurred to me. I suppose there's nothing to lose by trying this. I was wondering what the lifespan of these monitors was. How long would you suggest, and thanks for your opinion. I have at least two other smaller monitors in storage.

Are you running video data into the monitor via a VGA cable? VGA carries Red Green and Blue on individual lines so if you have something that is weakening the blue signal you end up with a pinkish screen, if you weaken the red it turns greenish, digital video connections do not have this issue. You may also have tint/color temp options in the monitor settings which could correct the issue.

TFT indicates that it is an LCD screen, which is the standard for flatpanel monitors. LED screens are still LCD screens but use LEDs as the backlight instead of fluorescent tubes, just wanted to clear up that last bit.
