I have a terribly slow internet and I want to have a faster speed so I was wondering if I could put both types of routers in the same house so my roommate can be on the internet and watch YouTube and I can play PC.
A wireless router almost always (unless it's a really tiny thing) includes a 4-port wired router. But that most likely won't help you; you would need to pay for more bandwidth from your ISP.
Yep. ^ Two routers won't increase your speed any, and more than likely the two routers will just interfere with each other. My dad tried installing two routers in his house and one repeatedly would just randomly lose connection for periods of time because the other would take over. Took awhile to figure out because he didn't tell me he had installed a second lol. But yeah, what Knight said, need more bandwidth coming in to solve your particular problem.
