Please answer three questions for me.

Can I run Grand Theft Auto IV?
Can I run Crysis 2?
Can I run Battlefield 3?
All on medium settings with not to much frame loss.

Specs:
4GB DDR3 Ram
i7 Intel Core Processor Q720 @1.6ghz
Windows 7 Ultimate
NVIDEA GeForce GT240M
Lenovo IdeaaPad Y550P

you will apparently, a gt240m it a little too weak for a gaming graphics card. but you can run them. i suggest build a budget gaming rig instead,

start with a haswell pentium then an r7 260 as graphics card.

Well, I heard GTA IV focuses more on the CPU than RAM and I have a pretty decent quad core CPU so..? Can you tell me how each games preformance will differ.

Yes You Can Run Them At Mid.
Bad Luck Cause You Have A Very Old GPU And That Too In A Laptop.

That Doesn't Even Support DirectX 11.
Well , That GPU Is Good But Old.
