Hello, I'm back here again regarding a psu i bought a few months back.
I'm using a XFX Proseries 850w, for supporting two r9 290's in the future, right now I'm just using one.
I do like the performance of this psu and it did a lot better than my previous corsair cx 600. However... The fan on the PSU is VERY loud when I put load on the system, primarly the GPU since an r9 290 will pull a little over 200w when gaming. I've checked every fan and I know it's the PSU as I can even hear it clearly, It's a lot louder than the rest of the system. I've also tried letting the PSU blowing air into the case instead of out. By mounting it differently.
I've mounted the psu in the bottom of my fractal design define R4 with the psu blowing air downwards. (out of the pc. Didn't know psu's blew air out of themselves instead of taking air in.)
So I need to know:
Is this just a bad fan or is it supposted to go this fast? I Know that psu's generally shouldn't be to loud, atleast not the loudest component in the system. I may consider replacing it since I want a quiet system.

FX-8350 @4.75Ghz @1.45v
R9 290 windforce @1150mhz/1350mhz
GA-990FXA-UD3
Corsair CL9 1600mhz 8gb
XFX Proseries 850w bronze+ certified at 85%
CPU cooler: Corsair H80i
