How to go from HDD+SSD to SSD?

Hello,

I currently have a 1TB HDD and 120gb SSD for my desktop. I want to upgrade a ~1TB SSD soon. I am only using ~500gb of the HDD, and am at ~90gb for the SSD. How would you suggest migrating to my current HDD+SSD configuration to a single SSD? I would prefer not to have to reinstall Windows 7. As always, the stability/integrity of my system and data are top priority.

Thank you very much :)

Thanks for your input VietGuy. I have a question, and then one conditional, if you don't mind:

Is it possible to combine and transfer both my HDD+SDD onto a new single drive?

And, say I do go with transferring the 120gb C: drive to the larger SSD - is there a way I can test or run diagnostics for any errors/hiccups/instabilities?

Thank you again for addressing those questions.

I was hesitant to ask about the programs that can be used, as I have never done this before, and am sure there are good programs out there for the job of migrating data to new hard drives. For the sake of my inquiry and project at hand and for others who will be embarking on a similar course of action,

which programs in particular can you recommend? Free software is preferred, but feel free to suggest paid ones that you feel are worth mentioning, and please state why for both free/paid software.

Thank you.
