I was moving through the jungle when suddenly I was high in the sky and falling, but I wasn't moving. I fast moved to a safe house and when I arrived, I was still falling and unable to move. ?????????

You may have more luck in a game forum for Far Cry 3 on the XBox 360.

Obviously a game glitch, but other than restarting at an earlier SAVE I'm not sure what you can do.
