Hey guys, so when I originally built my rig, I got one four gig stick. I now know that it is not enough. This is what I bought: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231313. Is it safe to buy another one of those? I figured it would be alright, seeing as its the same exact almost everything...

Solution
Can try, no guarantee it will play with the other, best bet to get full set of the amount you want and sell the old, toss it in another rig... DRAM is guaranteed by the packaged set as they are tested to play together, can pull 10 sticks right off an assembly line and might not find 4 out of the ten that will all play.... if you try and any problems give me a shout, can often get finicky sticks to play with minor voltage an/or timing adjustments

Thank you guys for your replies. I think I will play it safe and buy a new set of RAM. I have a computer that could use more RAM.
