Quiet cpu cooler that will fit in case

Im looking for a quiet air cooled cpu cooler that will allow me to overclock my fx 8350. My mobo is an asus m5a99fx r2.0 pro my case is a raismax tornado. Im having trouble on trying to find a good cooler i dont really have that low of a budget maybe $50-$70 or even lower. Thnx for your time

Phanteks PH-TC14PE_BK and Noctua NH-D14 are two of the best air coolers and very very quite.
They do as good as an H105 AIO.

Depends on how far you want to OC your board. Personally I'd probably go with a C-type cooler like the Noctua NH L-12~similar hyper 212 performance and whisper quiet. Or the Phanteks PH TC14cs. Both are at the upper limit of your budget but should fit your case since it is fairly thin width wise and a conventional 160mm tower cooler won't fit.

According to newegg the width of the case is 7.25 inches. I'd most definitely not risk it.

This is also a good choice and not super expensive and holds its own with the nhd14 and ph-tc14pe_BK also less problems with interfering with ram being a single heatsink tower ,

I do agree with this,i also was looking at this and with just a 80mm fan at the back would i not take the chance with these tall coolers.
You shouldn't have high profile ram with those coolers like the phantec.

Maybe for a tower cooler that the next would fitt with a hight of 150mm,

I had a Corsair H50 until recently, and it worked just fine as was very quiet. It's 120mm - fairly small, and I'd recommend it as long as your aren't doing any heavy overclocking. It'll also fall into your pricerange.

so it doesn't support it there and at the front it's not going to work either if i'm looking right.

The problem with choosing the right cooler is not about these coolers,it's about the case that the ts has.

Actually i think im just gonna wait and get a new case and a new heatsink it seems like it will cause less trouble

sounds like a good plan m8 , buy the best case for your cooling needs , check max cpu cooler height and you will be good to go
