i have 3 hard disk and 1 DVD Drive
i have to connect a
Deepcool Wind Blade 80 Cooler
but no power cable is remaining since 2 hard disk and 1 DVD drive consumed 3 sata connectors and 1 molex to SATA converter connected to 3rd hard drive
My point is can i use molex splitters to connect the deepcool fan ?
what kind of connector this fan have ?

More about : molex splitters provide power

You should be able to use a splitter, fans don't draw much power, not sure what kind of connector you need though, probably have to search a bit to find out.

Temp is influenced by a lot of different factors. Basically, without being there, it's impossible to say what kinds of temps you may or may not see. If you're going from no air flow to some air flow, there's a good chance you'll see better temps, without knowing ambient, it's hard to say what or how much. I don't let my CPU get over 70C, normally runs about 36C at idle, room temp is about 24C. I have three intake fans and three exhaust, the intake are higher CFM and higher pressure. I don't worry about HDD temps, there's not much you can do, they're not really designed to be thermally cool, in fact, I seem to remember them heating the disc for better recording density or something.

A low airflow 80mm fan isn't gonna do much to improve temps. You need to move the hot air out and the cool air in.

Thanks dude helped me good my area is little bit hotter Asian area and this is summer so heat goes above 35-40 Degree
Most of the time my windows 7 gets restarted after 5 minutes automatically why this is happening ?
is this due to temp of hard disk ?some times system says power surge happened ASUS power surge helps to protect your data that means my hard disks are drowning too much power that system restarts ?

Random restarts are usually a failing power supply. They *might* be from overheating, but it would be overheating of the video card or CPU. I've never heard of a HDD overheating, although it may be possible. It could also be a driver conflict. Have you installed anything recently? Does booting into safe mode work?

GpuZ for video card temps, Core Temp for CPU temps. The video card/CPU will usually throttle down if they get too hot. I'm still voting for PSU, what's your make model size?

Can't say I've ever heard of a VIP PSU. It might be good might not. New does not mean Good. Quality is important when it comes to PSUs. From the looks of it, you're not hurting your system with the random restarts, it's just annoying. Is it a fresh install of 7? Does it restart if you take that extra drive out? Your idle temps are fine. Win 7 is a lot more resource intensive than XP was. So just running nothing uses more juice in 7 than in XP.

Works good when it's working means it's not working good. You shouldn't have any problems with it at all unless it's old and or junk. Test with a different PSU.
