I am thinking of making a Mini ITX PC as my first build. It is intended to be used for previous generation gaming, not games like BF4 but more like Elder scrolls, BF3 and most likely Arma or emulators. It shall also be used for work and Development projects. am new to this so I do not know whether this is a good build, my main worry is the processor since it was cheap and had a seeming good amount of hardware, I'm also curious wether these part will fit since I used pc part picker and I don't know wether it is size accurate, I am also under a £600 budget, Thanks in advance.

Solution
For 600 pounds i would recommend you Intel build which will be faster in single threaded apps
All parts are fully compatible.

I opted for the quiet, cool, and efficient approach since you're dealing with a mini build. The GTX750ti should handle all of the older games easily at 1080p, but if you need more gaming power, the 270x that Ahmadjon suggested would be better although his build draws about twice as much power. I like having windows on a ssd in a mini build for even more speed and efficiency.

The guys above me are both right in that you'll do far better with an i5 system at this budget range.

If you aren't bothered about integrated Wifi (it can be very useful and is very achievable within your budget) and are flexible on which case you use, you can do an i5+270X build for around £500 which is perfectly competent at modern games as well as older ones.

If you want both the case, and onboard Wifi, I'd suggest something like this is a good way to spend your full £600.

Both are far more competent than you need, so there is definitely scope for saving money if needed.
