Motherboard gone bad?

So, I just built my desktop not even three months ago, and everything has been working fine up until now. I was playing DayZ Epoch a few days ago, when suddenly the game froze with little grey squares all over the screen. I proceeded to force quit the game, thought nothing of it, and opened the game again. But, the game did not open, and there was a pop up on my taskbar that said that the Nvidia OpenGL driver lost connection and has recovered.
After trying all the games I had, I had this error many times, and few saying something about TDR timeouts and the Nvidia GeForce driver crashing. So, after all this, I tried updating drivers, rolling back drivers, even re-installed Windows 8.1, but nothing. However, after I restarted after Arma 2 first crashed, I lost all sound on my computer, and Windows told me that there were no devices connected, such as my speakers or mic, and now, none of the back audio ports on my motherboard work.
In light of all this, I have installed Linux Mint, and I installed Minecraft, played it, and there is no Artifacting anymore. I am currently installing Left for Dead 2 to see if I get artifacts. I still do not have sound. I am not sure if I have a bad motherboard, PSU, Graphics Card, or what.

This is my setup:
Asus Z87-A 1150 Motherboard
Intel i5 4570 CPU
Galaxy GTX 770 2GB
Corsair CX 600 PSU
8GB of DDR3
120 GB Samsung EVO SSD
750 GB Hitachi 5400rpm HD
Linux Mint 15

I am really worried, and I do not know what to do. I just built my PC about 3 months ago, when I ordered everything from NewEgg. What should I do?

I will try this and then connect every device one at a time to see if there is a faulty device, but right now everything is working properly, except for sound. I also find it curious that I do not get artifacts while using my GTX 770 on Linux Mint 15, but I do on Windows 8.1

I have installed Left for Dead 2 and a few other Linux supported games, and I dont get any kind of artifacting or driver crashes. I still do not have sound. I have also contacted Asus to RMA my motherboard. When I get the new motherboard, if the problem persists I will see about RMA's for my PSU and GTX 770
Taking apart my entire system resulted in no changes either

Yeah! it's difficult to find faulty part on your system but it's probably motherboard problem.
