Good day,

I recently downloaded a hardware monitor program and it tells me my RAM is running at 666MHz whilst, as far as I know, I bought 1600MHz RAM. Here's a screenshot:

I'm using Corsair Vengeance LP (2x8GB, 1600MHz) on an Asus Z87-Pro motherboard.

Thanks a bunch!

EDIT: I forgot to mention I've had issues with my memory in the past. Well, not so much with the memory itself but my pc crashing due to lack of voltage distributed to the ram (I think). I am by no means 'good with computers' so I'd really appreciate help!

You have to enable XMP in BIOS to run your RAM on 1600MHz frequency and after enabling in your program it should show 800MHz since it's double data rate
