Hi, I have an i5 4670 processor and 8gb of ram, but i want to upgrade my graphics card ( because its currently Hd 7750.) I am most likely going to buy an R9 270x, because ive heard that it is the best graphics card on a 500w psu. Is this true? What is the best graphics card for a 500w powersupply? Thank you! :)

it's not just 500 watts that your gpu depends upon, also the amps provided by +12V rail of the psu. If your power supply has more than 30A @+12V rail, the best gpu i would be picking up is GTX 760:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card ($249.99 @ Micro Center)
Total: $249.99
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

Else with at least 24A @+12V rail, you are good with R9 270x.

This is the included PSU http://www.thermaltake.com.au/products-model.aspx?id=C_... It is their most basic model and only has 1 x 6 pin PCIe power connector. With that unit I would max go to GTX660 or R9 270 that only need one 6 pin from the PSU.
Although the best course of action is to get a quality PSU and avoid this substandard TT unit.

open your cabinet side panel and see the Power Supply sticker on your psu. Look for +12V column and what is the value written on it? And what is psu brand?

It'll be a pretty crappy PSU. I wouldn't want to load it too high. You want at least 24 Amps. The trouble with an in-built PSU is you get no data on it.

Aha I found it at: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_i... - 2 x 12V rails @15A - so it won't do.

The Antecs are OK - they're made by Seasonic. So both are OK
