Hello!
Let me tell you my problem:
I bought a computer 4 years ago. After 1 year, my kid played a game that virused my pc (atleast thats what I think). After that, if you wanted to start the pc, it would say : "Windows could not start succsesfully. A recent software of hardware change has caused this." You could choose from safe mode (with networking , with command prompt or just safe mode) , "Start Windows Normally" and "Last Known Good Configuration" . Neither of those worked. Safe mode was just freezing at loading and if i would choose "Start Win. Normally" with "Last Known Good Config", the windows will start to load (I got windows xp) and when the loading almost finished, a blue screen will appear and dissapear too fast (i coudn't read anything), and the pc will restart. We tryed reinstalling windows, but when you are asked in witch partititon to install the windows, at our screen no partititon was shown (windows could not detect any)... After this, we decided to let it like that, because we have got another pc. But after 2 years, we decided to try to repair it again...
But now when we tryed to open the pc, the screen was black, and the pc was running (I have plugged the monitor in). We restarted and then the screen said something like this "Bios recovery, Looking for floppy ; Floppy not found; Looking for CD-ROM; CD-ROM not found; Looking for floppy; Floppy not found; - And so on...
Ok, now that i have told you my story, my question:
"What can I do to make it work?I have putted the first part of my story in here because if the second part is done, mabye i will need to do the first part too, and I need help on that one too!"

Thx for reading, and sorry for my bad english.

Solution
i`ve had this problem before. the kid probably installed a non-trusted gaming software such as Alcohol 120% or demon tools. you will need to reinstall windows.
Well deal with the message of bios recovery first.

Because you have stored the pc away for some time and not used it.

In side the case or enclosure, where the main board or motherboard of the computer is,

There is a silver disk shaped battery.
The battery in question is used to keep a real time clock of the Pc correct when it is not in use, As well as the Date, Month and current year it is.

It also performs a second function, in that in order to keep the settings of the motherboard or bios it needs to be provided power by this battery.

If you replace the coin cell battery on the board, your message of the bios failing should stop.

You should replace this first.
The board due to the battery being flat, means every time you turn the pc off.
The bios settings are set back to factory defaults.

This needs to replaced first.
