1.i have an intel motherboard dh55tc
2.processor-i3 540
3.gfx card-asus 2gb gtx 760 direct cu II edition
4.psu-cx 600
5.monitor- philips 191E 1366 X 768 res
6.ram-ripjaws x 1333mhz 12gb
my ques is if i upgrade my cpu to amd 8350,then how much fps should i get in battlefield and suggest me a good mother board around 100$..tight budget

From experience: 50 fps on ultra @ 1080p and 80+ fps on high @ 1080p.

EDIT: +1 for the suggestion made by coolcole1, I used to have that mobo with the FX-4170 (also a 125W CPU) and never had any problems with it.

EDIT 2: I recommend getting a good CPU cooler as the FX stock coolers are horrible.

EDIT 3: I just realized that your resolution is only 1366 x 768... The GPU you have should absolutely demolish BF4 even with ultra settings. If you are having fps drops, it is definitely because of the CPU and the FX-8350 would completely fix that.

the m5a97 is a nice budget board, o/c'd both my 4170 and 8350 nicely, you will want better cooler then stock
a nice cheap all in one like the zalman 310 is great for mild overclocks on a budget. i'd pop the stock fan off the heatsink and aim it at your vrm's though if you go water cool, you loose some airflow over the motherboard when you w/c
shop around, i picked up 2 of them for around 47$ each on sale and got the 20$ rebate on top, i'd snag it for anything under 50+rebate
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX42554 is there i got mine, the price fluctuates a lot

what settings and fps with i3 540

The graphical effects aren't processed by the CPU so the it will have minimal effect on how good settings you can use. As for fps, don't expect very good results with the i3. 2 cores with 4 threads is not enough for 64 player games in BF4.

in single player..how much such predict in medium settings...i will get the amd 8350+mobo next year as i got gtx 760 this year

Sorry, but I can't find any benchmarks so I have no solid numbers to give you. I think it could handle single player fairly well and it would be playable. Multiplayer should also be fairly playable, but you should expect a lot of fps drops.

As I said before, you should be able to run it with ultra settings because the CPU doesn't affect the fps lost/gained by raising/lowering the settings that much.
