Hi there, im looking to build a home computer that is mainly running general office and accounting programs, but has the ability to run well as a htpc. My budget is around 500-600AUD before postage and as im in australia the parts also need to come from australian stores. So far what ive been looking at is;

CPU: i3-4130 $131

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-DH3 $101

RAM: 2x2gb G-Skill 1600mhz $48

PSU: Corsair VS450 ATX $54

HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1Tb $69

SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 120gb $99

Case: Coolermaster Force 500 $48

Total Cost: $550
Any recomendations would be really helpful, i think the 450 watt psu is probably overkill but im not too sure on how much the system needs, also dont really mind if the build is intel or amd, just want decent performance for the price.

Thanks

I'm running an I3 2300T (igpu only) as a HTPC and office machine and it is great. I would say more memory if possible though just for smoothness, the psu is overkill for no GPU.
