I recently upgraded my AP from dlink DIR600 to tplink WA801n. I have connected this AP to a Asus modem/router. The ip and gateway on the router is 192.168.1.1. DHCP is turned on. I have assigned my AP a static ip 192.168.1.249 so that I can access the AP's settings page. The default IP for this AP was 192.168.0.254.
All my devices connect wirelessly to the AP only. Most of the times everything works fine but sometimes one of the devices wont have access to internet although its connected to the AP. Other devices at this time would work fine. On looking closely I found that the devices when not working are assigned IP in the range of 192.168.0.x. Disconnecting and reconnecting the device would sometimes help.
I have experimented with many options like turning on DHCP on AP as well etc but the problem persists.
While using windows I found that I have two network connections (home and home2) and only 1 ssid - home. When I connect to my ssid the pc sometimes connect to home and internet works fine but when it connects to home2 internet would not be accessible.

I cannot understand the reason for this. Pls help.
PS- my devices are not in range of the asus router.
