AMD A10 7850k Dual Graphics Compatibility.

Hello. If someone could find me a list of all the discrete graphics cards that are compatible with the AMD A10 7850k apu processor in dual graphics mode that would be appreciated. Not actual individual cards but what R7s are able to run 'essentially' in crossfire with the A10s integrated graphics.

The R7-240 and R7-250 are the only one capable of dual graphics with Kaveri

The conclusion from this site is that you'll get better performance from an R7 260X or a 270, than you will from the crossfire feature.

Of coarse the X variants of those two cards will work as well. I have seen speculations about the last gen 7730 7750 working as well, but have not been able to verify this.

That is the official answer from AMD. you can always use a more powerfull GPU but this would disable the on-board graphics

Exactly there is a youtube vid of Kaveri running 6X1080p screens but it is saddled up with a r9-290x

The XFX R9 280x black ed double dispersion can link to your A10-7850k according to XFX because they both support direct x 11.2 XFX calls this APU link, which probably enables the A10 to share in some of the processing.
