Just like the title says.
My Windows 8.1 Task manager shows this "Microsoft Office Click-to-Run" service frequently taking up a lot of resources, and it will make my SSD work at 100% for long periods of time. It also frequently takes up the full bandwidth of my internet. Both of these things occur without prompting me and impact my primary tasks. I don't care enough about small Office updates to continuously be taking such a performance hit, so I want to remove or disable the service while keeping my copy of Office 2013 Pro Plus. Is this possible? If so, how?
