I am interested in history of components but mostly CPUs and GPUs..though they were not actually GPUs then. Just Video Cards. I will look up older graphics cards if I can find the right info and not just ebay hits. So If there is some good sites that you know of about Graphics cards History and GPUs...such as AnandTech...let me know please.

Thanks mate..I liked that Techspot one...3dFX: The Game CHanger... Very cool.....Ahhh Nostalgia. When I was 11 or 12 my friend had a 3DFX voodoo(2 or 3 i think) graphics card. My Mom ended up getting a used Pentium 3 but there was not a Dedicated GPU in it. I do think it had 2d/3d iGPU on it as I played some 3d games(doom and quake). but mostly games like Civilization , Diablo1 and 2 and Fallout 2 aslo Rollercoaster Tycoon. Aslo In my room I had a PC that a friend of my Moms gave me. It was a Cryix 5x86 i think maybe 6x86...more nostalgia..I believe at one point the 5x86 was a competitor for the Pentium 75mhz. Also I read somewhere that back around the late 90s if a game came out you had better hope that it used The Glide API or Open GL opposed to Direct3D at the time
