Can try them, might or might not work, any time you mix DRAM it can be problematic, even the same exact model, if any problems, give me a shout and we can make voltgae timing adjustments and probably get them to play together ;)

It looks like it works fine, is there some test/check I should run to make sure? My MOBO started showing 4 blue lights (apparently cpu phase control or something?) but other than that it seems to recognize the RAM no problem.

Take a look in CPU-Z (free utility program) at the memory tab to ensure they are running at spec (the freq column will show true freq which is half of the DRAMN spec i.e. if 1600 sticks CPU-Z will show true freq of 800), and the timings are correct.....then can run Memtest or Prime or something to test that is is working well
