After cleaning the dust out from my PC with compressed air and cotton buds I reinserted evberything and switched it on to find no signal through my HDMI monitor.
To check it wasn't the HDMI I left it for a while and tried pressing the number and caps lock on my PS2 keyboard, this did not change the lights. I tried rebooting and this did not change anything. At the start my keyboard lights flashed but nothing after that.
I then proceeded to do 'all the checks' I reinserted all the cables to check they weren't loose, I tried taking my graphics card out then my HDD then my CDD then my RAM then my CPU doing tests each time. This did not create any bleeps.
A thing I noticed was when my CPU was plugged in I could switch off my PC with the button but with it out I could not. Also with my PATA CD drive plugged in the HDD LED flashes but if just my SATA HDD is in it does not. I have not re-socketed my CPU yet as I have no spare thermal paste yet.
I really do hope you can help, thanks.
Kyle.
