I'm looking for a new internal storage device (preferably 2TB or higher) as I'm running low. I was looking at a hybrid drive because they look cool ^_^ This would come useful as I game a lot. Is there much improvement? Would you say it's worth the extra £30-£50? I was looking at this one http://www.dabs.com/products/seagate-2tb-desktop-sshd-sata-6gb-s-64mb-3-5--8gb-ssd-cache-8XSM.html?utm_source=awin&utm_medium=affiliates&utm_content=AW00&awc=3044_1397406481_b33746d8d50707e91d4a1e32f7e5bafb Let me know! thanks :)

Drive speed won't make any difference gaming... except for initial and subsequent loading times.
Most hybrid drives use a small SSD to act as a cache, but not all make that a persistent cache. If it isn't persistent, it will be erased at the next shutdown. The drive you linked to does use the SSD portion as a persistent cache. So boot times would be quicker as would any other pgm that the SSD has room to hold.
