Hello,

First of all let me describe the issue. On a Windows 7 Enterprise client, with the drive encrypted via Bitlocker, one of the users noticed that newer files that are written on the drive do not get indexed (even though the location appears checked and indexing services works in the sense that it counts the files) and therefore searching for them via Windows Explorer yields no result. On all the other windows 7 enterprise clients that have bit locker enabled i don't see the same problem, but what's different about this client is that, when the user wants to create a new file on his drive, doesn't matter where, even if it's a txt file, after it's creation, there's a small green key inside the text file icon. The same green key appears on all file types. This behaviour is not seen on other clients.

My question is, has anyone seen the same behaviour, the green key inside all icon files? I'm guessing this is the cause of my problem.

I've reset the windows search service, deleted the windows.edb file, changed the registry to reset the crawlers .. all without success.
