BSOD Memory_Management bad Ram stick?

Hello,
I have been having Blue Screen's on and off for the past month after I had installed my 4TB Cav Black HDD. I had not placed one of my sticks in properly and had left the computer on for about a day before realizing that it had been hanging half out. I am almost certain that this caused the problems I am occurring but I just need reassurance before upgrading.

It may also be noteworthy to say that I have a 600 Watt PSU and it is struggling with the load I have on it at the moment. I have not upgraded anything as I am extremely tight on money at the moment.

So you are wondering if you damaged the stick of RAM? If that is the question I'd say that is a real possibility but not a certainty. I'd run memtest or the windows memory diagnostic on that one stick alone to confirm.

These have all happened in the span of about 20 minutes and due to the latest blue screen I have to manually start Explorer.exe and other programs. I'm sorry if I am no real help but I have been trying to fix the random blue screens for the past few hours and have been working the night shift.

These error messages might or might not tell us exactly where the problem is. Perhaps a real expert might know for sure. But one of them (quoted above) directly references the hard drive so that's where I would start diagnosing. Most hard drive manufacturers provide free diagnostic software. I would go to their website and download the software and run the diagnostic. http://support.wdc.com/

If the hard drive passes the diagnostic then I would start in testing the RAM. You can boot from the Windows DVD and run the memory diagnostic from there or else download Memtest www.memtest.org

Turns out it was a problem with one of my Ram sticks. I ended up just buying a new PSU as my current one was about to cut out and new faster ram. Giving the rest to my mate for his spare and used parts build.

about 1-2 times per day my pc crashes, i cant click anything i cant do anything with the keyboard or anything like that. no blue screen of death comes up, it just stops for no apparent reason. there is no warning to the stop and after it stops i cant do anything.

it usually happens when im not running very incentive applications so im sure its not a power supply issue. honestly i dont know why its happening can someone suggest a fix for it? Currently i am fixing the problem by holding the power button for ten seconds and then turning it back on....
