How to make a cover for PC components?

Hi everyone, I am building my first gaming pc and wanted to make it look very appealing. I have seen some people making covers for their PC parts like the PSU to make the rig look better. I was wondering, how does one make such a thing? And is it expensive?

That guy actually just used spray paint. You can see in the comments

But how do you make the actual covers? Plastic, metal?

You make the covers from those materials? That's pretty straight forward.

I think he's talking about the covers on the motherboard, and the other PCI'e ports besides the one of the graphics card. The black long ones.
What a breathtakingly beautiful PC! This one is definitely going to my personal favourites.

Looks like he just took the plate off the Sabertooth and painted it white.... and same with his GPU just painted over the plastic of the cooler.

Yes, he says he did that, vinyl for the GPU and power supply, spray paint for the rest. Monitor, mouse, keyboard and case are original colour.

For your info I'm building currently a White and Black build and I found pretty much every part colored as i needed it so you wont need to mod unless you can't afford to build for a theme.
