What CPU should I get for gaming?

I want to know what CPU should I get for mainly gaming playing games like heavily modded Skyrim battlefield 4 and many other current and next gen games.

The 4670K is a great choice although I would pick a 4770k, mainly for next gen games that may use 8 threads whereas the 4670k only has 4. If budget isn't a factor I would go for a 4770k or a 4930k.
