The Situation: I have a New Egg order pending verification so i could cancel if i wanted my question is i have on order (2) gtx 780ti`s . The cards total a staggering $1400+ I have the money in my budget to purchase the GPU`s but do my needs justify it? I will be playing on a 1080p 144hz monitor i was planning on getting a couple more monitors but i want to start with one and build from there. The computer will be for gaming mostly maybe a little light editing. I will be playing BF4 ultra settings and i will have the frames locked at 120 -144 fps. so obviously whatever cards recommended must be able to put up some high numbers. Until they make a high resolution monitor that can match the 144hz and 2ms timing of the 1080p screen I'm getting then i will stick with 1080. I wanted top of the line to not have to worry about new games requirements in the future and i also wanted the best. Question: What other options do i have to meet my goals? (I would prefer invidia cards but will appreciate any response) Thanks again guys =)

you will have parallel dual channel with 4x4GB vs single dual channel with 2x8Gb. Theoretically better multi tasking ability (speed; lower response time) but it will be very hard to notice short of specific benchmarks. Enjoy your build!

I run 2 780ti's and on a single 1080p monitor it crushes BF4 (or any game for that matter). Currently I run mine with a Asus PQ321Q (4k) monitor and they put up decent performance. I'd never say anything is too much in my opinion, and if it's in your budget than why the heck not?

I think you made a very nice build. However I made some modifications:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3r7yl

I replaced your 2 ssd's with 1 Samsung 840 Pro 128GB; just put your os on here and limit all other programs data to the 4TB drive. If you really want you can get a 2nd ssd but having the 1 for your system programs is all you need.
Also, I replaced your ram with 16GB dual channel with lower cas (faster). Tiled resources will come into effect as early as this fall which will utilize system memory beyond gpu memory and being ready won't hurt; I know most will say you only need 8GB and more is a waste but that's true for today only. Also you mentioned some possible editing and more ram will never hurt you. This all bumps up your net cost around $200 but when you are spending over $3,000.00 you will notice what parts you are missing more than what you've spent. There's nothing wrong with the SSD's you selected but the Pro is the best you can get. If I can think of anything else I'll update you but you will be very happy with these upgrades. Also I upgraded your case to the 650D; see here why:

@ewok93 good point; still if he wants the best then he can get a 2nd pro SSD and configure that in raid if he chose to later. I see the $ value by going with the crucials but he seems to be shooting for top notch across the board pretty much hence the recommendation without quadrupling the price in that section.

Thank you all for the responses i have ordered most of the items on that list everything save the cpu, the gpu`s, ram and O.S. All of these items are coming from new egg with the case coming from corsair (thanks for referencing those articles) I was looking for a compact case after abandoning my original plan of the corsair 540 air because of it being so empty looking. I wanted something compact and the case had just been released and looked perfect I was looking for smallest form factor that can accept a ATX and that window… the case is just perfect I've maxed out all the fans so i will have great air flow for my reference style blower gpus. I actually decided on two 840 EVO`s 250g so i opted against the absolute cheapest. I know from experience that i don't use that much memory normally pick one game and just play it exclusively. I feel like i will Change out the Ram for 8x2 other then that I'm going to stop tinkering and just embrace the fact that i have spent a mortgage payment on a computer. Last little question is there any difference between 16g of ram split up to 4 sticks over 2? Thanks again guys so helpful every time i post on here =)

Thanks for the information!!. I will just order 2 more sticks of 4 then so i can leave that order alone to get confirmed =) If i could just pick your brain one more time. I figure all this money being thrown around you can imagine that aesthetics where a consideration when picking parts that were overall functional but secondly color matching to my color scheme. I was interested in buying those sleeved cables to dress my internals up a bit just to have that nice clean finished look. Do you know how many i would need and how many pins. Remember the SLI. Thanks for all the information i really appreciate it =)
